1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Shafil Alam ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the StudentBook mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (and don't collect), how it is used, and your rights regarding your information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

StudentBook is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your grades, GPA, course names, or any academic information you enter
• Your location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers beyond what your operating system's app store requires

All login data you enter into StudentBook is stored locally in the system's encrypted keychain. This data never leaves your device through our App.

3. Information Automatically Collected

We collect minimal technical information required to operate the App. This includes:

• Crash reports: If the App crashes, your device's OS may generate a crash report processed by Apple (iOS) and shared with us in anonymized form.
• App Store analytics: Apple may collect aggregate statistics about app downloads and installs, provided to us in anonymized form.

We do use advertising networks. We are not responsible for any third-party data collection or privacy practices.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

Login data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device, sandboxed by your operating system and not accessible to other apps.

iOS: Data is stored in the App's sandboxed container. If you enable iCloud backup, the App's data container may be included in your iCloud backup, subject to Apple's iCloud terms. We do not control or have access to your iCloud data.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third parties. Because we do not collect your personal information or grade data in the first place, there is nothing to share.

We may disclose information only when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to the same privacy commitments.

6. Third-Party Services

StudentBook is distributed through the Apple App Store. These platforms have their own privacy policies. The App does contain third-party advertising SDKs. We do not control the data collection practices of these third parties. Please review their privacy policies for more information.

7. Children's Privacy

StudentBook may be used by individuals under the age of 13. Because the App does not collect any personal information from users of any age, we comply with COPPA by design. No personal information from any user is collected by the App or transmitted to our servers.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your login data is retained on your device for as long as you have the App installed. You can delete all login data at any time through the App's settings. Deleting the App removes all associated data from your device's storage.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: All login data is directly accessible within the App at all times
• Deletion: Delete any or all login data through the App or by uninstalling it
• Opt-out: Opt out of crash reporting via your device's privacy settings

10. Security

Your login information is stored in a encrypted keychain environment enforced by your device's operating system, preventing other apps from accessing it. We recommend enabling device-level security (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode) to protect your device and its stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
